The original members of Faith Community Church met together for the first time in March of 1997 with a desire to establish a “community of believers under the rule of Jesus Christ.”  Since that time, the Lord has greatly blessed the church by adding new individuals and families to our fellowship, by broadening the scope of our ministries, by strengthening our faith, and by granting to us a growing love for Him and passion to make His excellencies known throughout the world.  Faith Community Church continues to be firmly committed to the Bible and its authority over our lives; and therefore, we are compelled to display God’s glory through the exposition of and the thorough application of the truth of Scripture.

Faith Community Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.  We are Southern Baptist by affiliation because we share a common commitment to the doctrinal heritage of the convention, because we believe in the cooperative effort of churches working together in the cause of world evangelization, and because we desire to participate with a growing number of Southern Baptist churches in the call for revival, reformation and a return to the doctrines of grace once held by the majority of churches within the convention.
