Kids' Camp

VBS

June 17-21 at FCC. For Children who are 3 through those who have completed 2nd grade. Click Here to visit VBS page. We need volunteers to help in various ways. There will be sign-ups for volunteers beginning Sunday, Apr. 21 at church.

Children's Ministry Overview

Through a variety of avenues, we desire to care for and shepherd children from diapers to discipleship. Teachers and helpers are equipped to effectively minister to little ones and committed to assisting parents in fulfilling the Scriptural admonition to train their children in a way that honors the Lord.

Sunday School Schedule

-On Sunday mornings, classes are provided for children at 9 & 10:30am.

-For children 4 & up, classes are offered both hours, but we ask that you have your children attend the worship service with you one of the two hours.

-For children 3 & under, we provide a Sunday School class during the 9am hour and nursery care during the 10:30am hour.

What Children are Taught

Beginning with our two-year olds, we teach each child about the storyline or the drama of the Bible. We explain how God, who is from everlasting to everlasting, created all things for His glory and in time revealed Himself to mankind in many ways, but most fully in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe this will lay a foundation that is critical for children to have in order for them to understand God’s plan of redemption and the significance of the gospel.

We believe that children can handle deep truth at a young age. We want to fill them with solid Bible truth that will provide a strong foundation and prepare them for the storms of life. For this reason, we emphasize the study, the memorization, and the application of God’s Word. In addition, we desire to “walk alongside” parents, enabling and equipping them in their God-given roles. We encourage parental involvement in the classroom and provide resources and tools for parents to more effectively nurture the faith of their children at home.

Nursery Care

Nursery care is available during morning & evening worship services for children ages 3 and under.
