The Vision...
Faith Community Park is a place where our church family and neighbors can gather, play, worship, and rest in God’s creation on the east side of our campus. Anchored by a large multipurpose activity field, the heart of the park invites every age into the landscape: swings and tot swings, saucer swing and gaga ball, bocce and horseshoes, corn hole on turf, rolling synthetic-turf hills and slides, a fire pit for fellowship, a waterfall and pond, and wood fort structures with a rope bridge tucked among the trees — all linked by sidewalks, mulch paths, and a walking trail. Our aspiration is a beautiful, usable park where families and individuals enjoy one another and the world God has made. As funding and building priorities allow, a later stage may add an outdoor amphitheater with seating for worship and community events, connected by a stone arched bridge and a natural river-rock swale.

Project Phases & Budget
The Faith Community Park project is divided into several key phases, each designed to enhance our church campus with beautiful and functional spaces for fellowship and recreation. Below is a projeced timeline and budget of each phase, outlining the expected completion dates and the specific features to be developed.
Fall 2026
Phase 1: $75,000
In the first phase, we will grade, install irrigation, and sod our activity field on the east side of our building. This will become a safe and versatile space for a wide range of outdoor activities and events.
Spring 2027
Phase 2: $250,000
This phase will include all grading, infrastructure, hard surfaces, and synthetic turf for the western half of the park adjacent to the basketball court.
Summer 2027
Phase 3: $100,000
The third phase will complete the grading, infrastructure, hard surfaces, and synthetic turf on the east end of the park that extends to the treeline between FCC and Never Alone near Rope Mill Road.
Fall 2027
Phase 4: $230,000
This major phase will fill the park with vibrant landscaping elements including an array of ornamental and shade trees, shrubbery, and blooming plants as well as irrigation and a natural stone creekbed. Tree forts, playground equipment, site furnishings, and fencing will also be installed.
Spring 2028
Phase 5: TBD
This final phase in our conceptual plan calls for the construction of an amphitheater between the park and the activity field with a beautiful stone bridge connecting these two areas. Please note, however, that other building/financial priorites may preempt its completion.
